BSL Support Assistant – Gosforth (Full-Time)

A specialist educational setting in Gosforth is looking for a BSL Support Assistant to support deaf and hearing-impaired pupils in accessing learning and participating fully in school life.

You'll play a vital role in supporting communication, independence and confidence, helping pupils achieve their full potential.

Location: Gosforth
Pay: £95 - £110 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

What you'll be doing

Supporting pupils who use British Sign Language
Translating and facilitating communication during lessons
Providing 1:1 and small-group support
Promoting confidence and independence
Supporting learning across the curriculum
Working closely with teaching staff and families

A BSL qualification or relevant experience
Excellent communication skills
