Psychology Graduate Support Assistant - Jesmond

Protocol Education is working in partnership with a highly supportive school in the Jesmond area to recruit a full-time Psychology Graduate Support Assistant.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience supporting children with a range of educational, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Main Duties:

  • Support pupils across Key Stages on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Assist children with SEND and SEMH requirements
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
  • Contribute to an inclusive and safe learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Psychology degree or related qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional and proactive approach
  • Passion for supporting children's development
  • Previous child-related experience preferred
