Site Agent - Water / Wastewater
Lancashire & Greater Manchester (Water Framework Projects)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Excellent Benefits

My client is a well established, privately owned civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to the award of a new water framework, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent on a permanent basis to support the delivery of key water and wastewater schemes across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a robust order book, long term framework work, and a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and self delivery.

The Role
As Site Agent, you will take day to day responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of water and wastewater projects, working closely with the Project Manager and engineering teams on site.
 

Your duties will include:
-    Day to day site management and supervision of works
-    Setting out for complex civil engineering elements including tunnels, tanks, and associated structures
-    Managing site teams, subcontractors, and plant
-    Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
-    Coordinating temporary works, permits, and RAMS
-    Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
-    Liaising with clients, engineers, and internal stakeholders
-    Supporting planning, progress reporting, and site documentation

About You
To be considered, you should have:
-    Minimum 3 years' experience in water / wastewater projects
-    Proven experience working on tunnelling works and complex civil engineering structures
-    Strong setting out experience
-    Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
-    CSCS and SMSTS certification
-    Solid understanding of site operations within a framework environment
-    A proactive, solutions focused approach with strong leadership skills
