Whether you've worked in education before, recently graduated, coached a sports team, worked with young people, or you're considering a future in teaching, this is a brilliant opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while enjoying the flexibility to work around your lifestyle.
What will you be doing?
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll lead lessons using work already prepared by the class teacher. Your job is to keep pupils engaged, maintain a positive learning environment, and make sure learning continues while their teacher is away.
Your day could include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and consistency
- Encouraging pupils to stay engaged and complete their work
- Supporting students throughout the lesson where needed
- Building experience in a variety of welcoming secondary schools across Halifax

We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience working with young people in any setting
- Are confident speaking in front of groups and leading a classroom
- Have a positive attitude and can think on your feet
- Enjoy building relationships and supporting young people to succeed
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are happy to apply for one
