Whether you've worked in education before, recently graduated, coached a sports team, worked with young people, or you're considering a future in teaching, this is a brilliant opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while enjoying the flexibility to work around your lifestyle.

What will you be doing?

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll lead lessons using work already prepared by the class teacher. Your job is to keep pupils engaged, maintain a positive learning environment, and make sure learning continues while their teacher is away.

Your day could include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects
• Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and consistency
• Encouraging pupils to stay engaged and complete their work
• Supporting students throughout the lesson where needed
• Building experience in a variety of welcoming secondary schools across Halifax

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience working with young people in any setting
• Are confident speaking in front of groups and leading a classroom
• Have a positive attitude and can think on your feet
• Enjoy building relationships and supporting young people to succeed
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are happy to apply for one
