We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Harrow looking for an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join their specialist team.

The Role

You will be supporting secondary-aged students with a range of SEND and complex needs, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons
  • Supporting students with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties
  • Creating individualised learning activities based on students' needs
  • Managing behaviour using positive and consistent strategies
  • Tracking progress and contributing to EHCP and individual targets
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and other professionals
  • Promoting independence, communication and confidence

We Are Looking For

  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching within SEND / specialist settings
  • Experience supporting students with complex needs
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom skills
  • Patient, enthusiastic and committed approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Must hold a Child & Adult DBS
