Teach South Kent are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in East Sussex who are seeking a passionate and motivated History Teacher to join their team on a long term supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator with secondary school experience to make a positive impact in the classroom. For the right fully qualified candidate, there is potential for the role to become permanent.
The Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement
• Adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of learners
• Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Experience working within secondary schools is essential
• Strong behaviour management skills are essential
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable for long-term/permanent opportunities
• Unqualified teachers with relevant secondary school experience are welcome to apply for supply work
• Passion for History and education
