

Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work within a successful and supportive secondary school in South Tyneside The school is recognised for its inclusive approach, strong pastoral support and commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed. Staff work collaboratively to create a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and independence.

Many of our most successful Learning Support Assistants have joined us from careers in care, hospitality, retail, coaching, youth work, mental health support, customer service, healthcare and the emergency services. If you're patient, approachable and enjoy helping others, you already have valuable skills.
You'll spend your day supporting students both academically and emotionally, helping remove barriers to learning while encouraging independence and positive engagement.
Your day could involve:
- Providing one-to-one support.
- Assisting small groups during lessons.
- Supporting students with additional learning needs.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and participation.
- Working closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their goals.
You'll be joining a caring school community where every member of staff plays an important role in helping students succeed.
This is a rewarding term-time only opportunity through Protocol Education. You must be available Monday -Friday to be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
