Please see the below details and see if it matches your background.Overview of this Security Project Manager role:A Security Project Manager / Site Manager is required to lead the delivery of security system installation works within data centre environments in the EU. The role is responsible for managing site operations, coordinating labour and subcontractors, maintaining programme and quality standards, and ensuring that access control, CCTV, alarm, and associated electrical/security infrastructure are installed, tested, and handed over safely and correctly.This position suits an experienced site-based manager with a strong background in security systems, data centre projects, or critical environment installations. The role combines practical site leadership, technical understanding, compliance oversight, client coordination, and strong documentation control.Skills & Experience required for this Security Project Manager role: Minimum 3 years’ experience in the security systems industry.Proven experience as a Project Manager, Site Manager, or Supervisor on security systems installation projects.Strong background in access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and related containment/cabling works.Experience working in data centres, critical environments, or high-security facilities.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, installation layouts, and commissioning documentation.Strong understanding of site sequencing, labour coordination, quality control, and project reporting.Confidence in managing subcontractors and multiple work fronts in a live or restricted environment.Good working knowledge of testing, commissioning, and handover processes.Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Required Certifications and Qualifications for this Security Project Manager role: VCA Basic or SCC equivalent as a minimum; VOL-VCA preferred or required for anyone supervising or managing personnel on site. IPAF 3a and 3b preferred where MEWPs are used.BHV or equivalent emergency response certification preferred where site ratios apply.Previous experience on data centre, mission-critical, or high-security projects is strongly preferred.
