A supportive school in Hexham is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Trainee Teaching Assistant to gain hands-on classroom experience while making a real difference to students' learning and wellbeing.

Your Role

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Supporting pupils with their academic progress
  • Leading small group intervention activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and participation
  • Providing encouragement and guidance to students
  • Supporting the wider pastoral needs of pupils

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a degree or relevant A-Level qualifications
  • Has a genuine passion for education
  • Is confident, professional and reliable
  • Enjoys working with young people
  • Is considering teacher training or another educational pathway

This role includes full support, mentoring and training from experienced education professionals.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:30am-4:00pm | Wednesday 8:30am-5:00pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
