Location: Morpeth
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:30am-4:00pm | Wednesday 8:30am-5:00pm
Contract: Full-Time

Are you a recent graduate considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or another education-based career?

A welcoming secondary school in Morpeth is seeking a dedicated Graduate Trainee Teaching Assistant to support students both academically and pastorally while gaining invaluable classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting learning across a range of curriculum subjects
  • Delivering targeted intervention sessions to individuals and small groups
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement
  • Providing additional support to students who need extra guidance
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
