Protocol Education is working with a specialist SEND school in Morpeth seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with PMLD and complex learning, physical, sensory and communication needs.

You'll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to provide highly individualised support throughout the school day.

The Role

You may be supporting pupils with:

Profound and multiple learning difficulties
Physical disabilities
Complex communication needs
Sensory needs
Learning difficulties
Additional care requirements

Your day could involve:

1:1 support
Classroom and learning activities
Sensory activities
Communication support
Mobility support
Personal care
Promoting independence
Supporting individual routines
Building positive relationships
Working alongside teachers and specialist professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
