Clinical Coding Auditor

The successful candidates will have at least 2 years’ clinical coding audit experience across all specialties and will be a HSCIC Registered Clinical Coding Auditor and ACC – Accredited Clinical Coder.

You will have:

·        Experience of delivering PbR, IG and other coding audits to high quality and tight deadlines

·        Good knowledge of PbR, HRGs and the impact of clinical coding on PbR

·        Good presentation and report writing skills

·        Excellent client management skills

·        Ability to network effectively with peers

·        Knowledge of Data Protection, Information Governance and Patient Confidentiality requirements.

 
You would also be expected to:

·        Support clients in the development of an audit programme to ensure ongoing improvements in their quality assurance for both the organisation and their commissioners

·        Have a pro-active and positive approach when working with clients to identify areas where further work may be required, for example training or more specialised audit

·        Produce high quality and precise reports following all audits in a timely way.


The successful candidate must:

·        Be a highly motivated individual

·        Show an enthusiastic approach to working practices

·        Have excellent all-round communication skills.
