Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with additional needs?

We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in Hounslow. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and complex needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Create and implement personalised learning plans and targets.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and communication development.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in line with EHCP requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching pupils with SEN, either in a specialist or mainstream setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour support strategies.
  • Is patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education.
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working with ASC, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, or complex needs is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
