We're working with a thriving secondary school in Huddersfield looking for an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about sport, physical wellbeing, and helping young people build confidence through physical education.
Whether you're leading a competitive football fixture, introducing students to new sports, or encouraging participation from those who'd rather avoid the changing rooms, you'll play a vital role in creating positive experiences that last far beyond school.

The role
⚽ Teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Encourage participation, teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students
Support extracurricular activities, clubs, fixtures, and school sporting events
Create an inclusive environment where all students feel confident to participate
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
✔ Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
✔ Can motivate and engage students of all abilities
✔ Has strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
✔ Is passionate about promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing
✔ Brings energy, positivity, and creativity to every lesson

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
