

Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for a confident, caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ipswich on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children and is confident providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an important role in helping pupils feel confident, included and supported throughout their school day. You may be supporting children with a range of SEN, helping them to access learning, develop independence and manage their emotions and behaviour.
You will work closely with teachers and the wider school team to provide consistent and engaging support tailored to individual needs.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is 18 years or over
- Has experience working with children, particularly within an educational or SEN setting
- Is confident supporting children with additional needs
- Is patient, nurturing and resilient
- Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Is confident working as part of a wider school team
- Is committed to working full-time
- Has a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
