We're looking for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Ipswich, supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This is a full-time, long-term opportunity where you'll play a vital role in helping children build confidence, develop independence and celebrate success every day.
Working alongside experienced teachers and therapists, you'll support pupils both in the classroom and through tailored interventions, adapting learning to meet individual needs and creating an environment where every child feels valued.
Your role will include:
- Supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) throughout the school day
- Delivering tailored 1:1 and small group learning activities
- Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
- Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and families to support each child's progress
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEND, or a genuine passion to build a career in specialist education
- Is patient, resilient and nurturing
- Can build positive relationships and adapt to individual learning needs
- Brings enthusiasm, empathy and a positive attitude every day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
