Autism Support Assistant – Jesmond (Full-Time)

A welcoming primary school in Jesmond is seeking an Autism Support Assistant to work closely with pupils who require additional support with communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.

You'll help create a consistent and nurturing environment where pupils feel supported, understood and ready to learn.

Location: Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: £92.63 - £102 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

What you'll be doing

Providing 1:1 and small-group support
Supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Encouraging social and communication skills
Helping children access classroom learning
Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
Working closely with teachers and SEND staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
