A specialist SEN school in Newcastle is looking for a motivated Graduate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs.

The Role
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll:
- Provide individual support throughout the school day
- Help the pupil access lessons and activities
- Break down tasks and make learning more accessible
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Assist with transitions and changes in routine
- Build a positive and trusting relationship
- Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

A degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Criminology, Childhood Studies or a related field would be particularly relevant.
