Graduate Teaching Assistant - Jesmond

Protocol Education is working with specialist SEND schools in Jesmond seeking enthusiastic graduates to support children and young people with a range of additional needs.

Location: Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only

About the Role

You'll support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and learning difficulties, helping them engage with education and develop confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting with classroom activities and interventions
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
Supporting emotional regulation
Building trusting relationships with pupils
Helping pupils achieve their individual goals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
