Graduate Teaching Assistant - SEND School | Gateshead
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education before pursuing a career in Teaching, Educational Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, or Social Work?
We are working with a specialist SEND school in Gateshead seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to support children and young people with additional learning and communication needs.
Location: Gateshead
Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only
The Role
- Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and learning difficulties
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Assisting with classroom activities and learning tasks
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Working closely with teachers and specialist staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
