Due to continued growth across Malaysia, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Buyer to support the delivery of multiple high-profile technology infrastructure projects.This is an opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end procurement activities, working closely with project, operations, design and supply chain teams to ensure materials and services are sourced effectively, competitively and delivered in line with project requirements.The Role - Senior Buyer As Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring materials, equipment and services are secured on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.You will play a key role in supplier management, commercial negotiations, cost optimisation and procurement governance, supporting successful project delivery across Malaysia’s growing data centre and technology infrastructure sector. Hybrid working arrangement, part based from home with regular travel required across Malaysia to support project sites, supplier meetings and operational requirements.Key Responsibilities - Senior Buyer Lead end-to-end procurement activities for materials, equipment and services across multiple projectsSource structured cabling materials including fibre, copper systems, racks, containment and associated accessoriesManage RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations and purchasing decisions based on cost, quality and delivery requirementsDevelop strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms and commercial agreementsWork closely with Project Managers, Operations and Design teams to align procurement with project programmesMonitor purchase orders, supplier commitments and delivery schedules, identifying and mitigating supply chain risksSupport cost-saving initiatives through supplier benchmarking, negotiation and specification reviewsMaintain accurate procurement records, reporting and compliance documentation About You - Senior Buyer We are keen to speak with Senior Buyers, Procurement Specialists or Supply Chain professionals with experience supporting data centres, structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, telecommunications, construction, electrical or technology driven projects.
