Site Manager - Water

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the safe and successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with clients, subcontractors and operational teams, you will lead site activities while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across water and wastewater projects.

• Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely and efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and programme requirements.

• Monitor project progress, budgets and resource allocation.

• Carry out site inspections, risk assessments and quality inspections.

• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.

• Ensure project documentation, permits and site records are maintained.

• Identify and resolve site issues to ensure successful project delivery.

About You

• Proven Site Management experience within the water or wastewater sector.

• Experience delivering clean water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certified.

• NRSWA Supervisor and EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable).

• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and health & safety legislation.

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Full UK Driving Licence.
