Protocol Education is looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including SEND, Autism (ASD), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), ADHD, Speech & Language Needs and complex learning difficulties across schools in the area from September.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate or someone with a background in care or support work, this could be the perfect opportunity to build a rewarding career while making a genuine impact on young lives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom
- Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills
- Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
- Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
- Supporting communication, sensory and regulation strategies
- Working alongside teachers, SENDCOs and external professionals
- Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils can succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
