If you’re a KS1 teacher thinking, “I love teaching… I just need the right school,” this could be your moment.

We’re working with welcoming primary schools across Lambeth who are looking for confident, caring KS1 teachers for long-term roles starting in September. These are proper, settle-in-and-stay opportunities, not short stop-gaps.

New year. New class. A team that actually backs you.

What’s on offer?

  • Full-time, long-term KS1 teaching roles

  • Supportive SLT who are visible, not just on email

  • Collaborative year group teams, shared planning and no reinventing the wheel

  • Well-behaved classes with clear routines in place

  • Schools that value creativity, structure, and strong phonics foundations

Whether you’re an ECT wanting strong guidance or an experienced teacher ready for a school that respects your expertise, we’ll find a role that fits your style.

You’ll need:

  • UK QTS

  • Recent KS1 experience

  • Strong phonics knowledge

  • A calm, confident classroom presence

  • The ability to build positive relationships quickly

Why work with Protocol Education?

We keep it simple. Honest conversations, clear communication, and schools that match what you’re actually looking for.

You’ll get:

  • Weekly pay through PAYE, no umbrella companies

  • FREE access to our online CPD Academy

  • Personalised support from a dedicated consultant

  • Opportunities in mainstream, SEND, and alternative settings

  • Streamlined registration and local placements

  • A referral scheme that genuinely rewards you

We’re also big on emotional wellbeing in the classroom. If you’re not already Thrive trained, we can get you on our free Thrive training. Schools love it, and it gives you even more confidence when supporting pupils who need that little bit extra.

September roles in Lambeth are already being discussed, and schools are meeting teachers now. If you’re ready for a change, or just curious about what’s out there, let’s have a proper chat.

Your next KS1 class could be closer than you think.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.
