We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly mainstream primary school, providing support to pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. You will help children engage with lessons, develop their skills, and build the confidence needed to succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting learning within the classroom
• Working with individual pupils and small groups
• Assisting children who require additional support
• Encouraging participation and engagement in lessons
• Promoting positive behaviour and independence
• Supporting literacy and numeracy activities
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people
• Is patient, caring and enthusiastic
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is committed to supporting children's learning and development

Experience within education is desirable, but candidates from childcare, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring or similar backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
