Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking for flexible work within education?

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a daily supply basis in mainstream primary schools. This role offers the opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs while gaining experience across different school settings.

About the Role

  • Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assist children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Encourage independence, confidence and social development
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCOs to ensure pupils receive the support they need
  • Adapt to different schools, classrooms and pupil needs

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Experience supporting SEN is desirable but not essential
  • A patient, caring and resilient nature
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
