The Role

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classrooms.
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN and SEMH needs.
• Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
• Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence.
• Support children both inside and outside the classroom environment.
• Adapt to different school settings and year groups.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEN and/or SEMH needs is highly desirable.
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work across different schools.
