Wrap Around Care Assistant

The Role

As a Wrap Around Care Assistant, you will help create a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for children attending breakfast and after-school clubs. Duties may include:

• Supervising children during activities and free play
• Supporting arts, crafts, games and sports activities
• Assisting with snack preparation and serving food
• Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
• Ensuring children's safety and wellbeing at all times
• Supporting children with varying needs and abilities

About You

We welcome applications from both qualified and unqualified candidates.

Desirable experience includes:

• Childcare settings
• Primary school environments
• Nursery or early years settings
• Sports coaching or activity leadership
• Holiday clubs or youth work

Requirements

• A passion for working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
