Nursery Teaching Assistant - Full Time
Location: LS4, Leeds
Hours: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the LS4 area.
Working within the school nursery, you will support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Role:
- Supporting children aged 3-4 years within the school nursery
- Assisting with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Encouraging children's communication, social and emotional development
- Supporting the class teacher and wider Early Years team throughout the school day
- Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within EYFS is essential
- Experience in a school nursery, private nursery, preschool or similar Early Years setting
- A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
