Every primary classroom has its own energy, its own rhythm, and its own little moments that stick with you. As a Primary Cover Teacher, you get to step into those moments and keep learning moving forward.

We’re working with a range of welcoming primary schools across LS11 who are looking for confident and adaptable Primary Teachers to provide cover across different year groups when needed.

This is a brilliant opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety, independence, and the chance to make a real impact without the full-time planning load.

What your day will look like:

Leading pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Creating a calm, focused and positive learning environment
Adapting your approach to suit different age groups and needs
Building quick rapport with pupils and school staff
✨ Keeping learning on track and classrooms running smoothly

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

✔ Are a qualified Primary Teacher (QTS required)
✔ Enjoy variety and different school settings
✔ Can confidently manage a classroom independently
✔ Build strong relationships quickly
✔ Are adaptable, calm, and positive under pressure

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
