Step Into a Classroom That Needs You – Primary Teacher, Leeds LS3

We’re currently working with several primary schools across Leeds LS3 who are looking for a full-time Primary Teacher to join them on a long-term basis.

These aren’t “tick-box” teaching roles. They’re classrooms where consistency, relationships, and strong day-to-day teaching really matter. You’ll be taking ownership of learning and helping pupils build confidence, structure, and progress over time.

Every school is a little different, but the need is the same — someone reliable, capable, and ready to settle into a role where they can make a genuine difference.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading your own primary class on a daily basis
  • Planning and delivering lessons that support all learners
  • Creating a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
  • Working closely with staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing

Pay & details:

  • £140–£240 per day (depending on experience)
  • Full-time, long-term opportunities
  • Primary school roles across Leeds LS3

What schools are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confidence managing a primary classroom independently
  • A steady, consistent approach to teaching and behaviour
  • The ability to build trust and strong relationships with pupils

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
