SEN Primary Teaching Assistant - LS10
We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs within a welcoming primary school in LS10.
The Role
- Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils who require additional support
- Assisting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs
- Supporting pupils in accessing the curriculum
- Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
- Working alongside teachers and SEN professionals
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable
- Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
- Relevant qualifications welcomed but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
