We’re working with a welcoming primary school in LS2 that has a dedicated SEN hub supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. They’re on the lookout for caring, calm, and proactive Teaching Assistants who know how powerful the right support can be.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with pupils who need a little extra help to thrive in the classroom.

What the role looks like

You’ll be working within the school’s SEN hub, supporting pupils with a variety of needs including autism, communication difficulties, and learning needs.

Your day might include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis

• Helping children access learning through adapted activities and sensory support

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

• Encouraging positive routines, confidence, and independence

• Creating a calm and safe learning environment

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience supporting children or adults with SEND

• Are patient, compassionate, and adaptable

• Feel confident supporting pupils with additional needs

• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff

Experience in schools, care, youth work, or support settings is all welcome.
