Protocol Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham to recruit a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through this important stage of their primary education. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The Role
- Full-time Year 2 class teacher.
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
- Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform teaching.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable).
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Is passionate about raising attainment and supporting children's academic and personal development.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
