Role Overview
• The Java J2EE Developer will fix bugs in the system, and to work in a second line support team analysing and resolving queries raised by the help desk team.

Required Expertise for the Java J2EE Developer

Responsibilities for the Java J2EE Developer
• To analyse and fix bugs in existing software.
• To communicate effectively with other team members to ensure a common understanding of the technical requirements of a fix.
• To provide second line support for the help desk team.
• To participate in reviews of bugs requiring fixes.
• To work alongside Facilities Management team for deployment and runtime issue resolution.
• May be the opportunity to develop new code according to specifications.
