A specialist contractor delivering high-quality civils and rail projects across London and the Home Counties with a strong pipeline of work are looking for an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor / Site Manager to join the team.
 

The Role
Site Supervisor / Manager to oversee a variety of small-to-medium civils and rail projects. You will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating teams, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a dynamic, site-based role with multiple projects running concurrently (typically short-term works such as 1 to 2 weeks per site).
 

Key Responsibilities
-    Supervising day-to-day site activities across civils and rail projects
-    Managing site teams and subcontractors
-    Acting as a key point of contact for clients on-site
-    Ensuring all works are delivered in line with safety, quality, and programme requirements
-    Completing and maintaining accurate site paperwork and documentation
-    Being hands-on when required to support delivery
 

Requirements
-    Proven experience in civils and rail environments
-    Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager
-    Strong understanding of site processes, health & safety, and compliance
-    Confident managing teams and dealing directly with clients
-    Strong administrative and paperwork skills
-    Willingness to travel and stay away during the week when required
-    Trade background considered - no degree required
 

Certifications:
Relevant rail and site tickets are required (specific certifications to be confirmed).
 

Work Pattern
-    Typically 40 hours per week, with flexibility depending on project requirements
-    Mix of early finishes and longer days as needed
-    Regular travel across London and surrounding counties
-    Staying away during the week may be necessary
 

Salary & Benefits
-    Salary up to £55,000 
-    Vehicle: Company van available (own vehicle preferred but not essential)
