Pay Rate: £16.05 - 17.98 (Hol Roll Up)
OT After 40 Hours £23.43 - £26.25 (Hol Roll Up)
Shifts: Various shifts available - Monday to Friday : 08:30 start
Experience: 12 months commercial driving = essential 

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Middleton to work with our client who are one of the UK's largest parcel distribution companies.

HGV Class 1 Driver - The role & responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle
• Collections (handball and pallet)
• Standard route paperwork
• Pre & post route vehicle checks

 
About you:
You will have your full UK Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving in a 7.5 tonne vehicle. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly. 

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
