Project Manager - Multi Utilities (MU)

Location: North West / Greater Manchester (Site Based)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading utilities contractor delivering multi-utility infrastructure projects across residential and commercial developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially aware Project Manager with a strong background in gas, water and electric utility installations. You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from design handover through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, programme and financial targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple utility projects from inception through to completion.

• Lead site teams and subcontractors, driving productivity and ensuring programme delivery.

• Maintain strong relationships with developers, clients and key stakeholders.

• Ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

• Oversee planning, coordination and execution of gas, water and electric installations.

• Manage Streetworks notices, permits, commissioning and plot connections.

• Monitor project costs, profitability and resource allocation.

• Conduct regular site audits, toolbox talks and health & safety inspections.

• Ensure quality standards, company procedures and client specifications are met.

• Coordinate design and commercial handovers for new schemes.

• Manage plant, materials and labour resources efficiently.

• Maintain accurate project records, as-laid drawings and completion documentation.

Requirements

Essential

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the Multi Utility industry.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory or management role.

• Strong understanding of gas, water and electric utility projects.

• Proven experience managing teams, subcontractors and client relationships.

• Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project costs and profitability.

• Full UK Driving Licence.
