Project Manager - Industrial & Commercial
Location: North West / Greater Manchester (Site Based)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance
️ Holiday: 26 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing and well-established contractor delivering Industrial & Commercial infrastructure projects across the UK.
This is a key leadership position responsible for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will oversee programme delivery, commercial performance, health & safety compliance, quality standards and client satisfaction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and profitably.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role offers excellent autonomy and career progression for an ambitious construction professional looking to make a significant impact within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities

Manage Industrial & Commercial projects from inception through to completion.

Take full responsibility for project performance, including programme, quality, safety and profitability.

Lead and support Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and support functions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Chair weekly progress meetings and manage client expectations throughout project delivery.

Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements and company procedures.

Monitor project costs, forecasts and profitability, working closely with commercial teams.

Oversee resource planning and allocation to maximise productivity and project performance.

Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety reviews.

Ensure high standards of quality control, compliance and documentation across all projects.

Support recruitment, training and development of operational staff.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across health & safety, operational performance and customer service.
Requirements
Essential
-
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior supervisory, Project Manager or Contracts Manager role.

Strong background delivering Industrial & Commercial construction or infrastructure projects.

Proven experience managing project programmes, budgets and client relationships.

Excellent leadership, planning and organisational skills.

Strong commercial awareness and profit & loss responsibility.

Full UK Driving Licence.
Qualifications

SMSTS (5 Day)
-
First Aid at Work (4 Day)

NEBOSH General Certificate
-
HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction Management or related discipline
