Project Supervisor - Multi Utilities / Industrial & Commercial

Location: North West / Greater Manchester (Site Based)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Supervisor to join a leading utilities and infrastructure contractor delivering Multi Utility and Industrial & Commercial projects.

This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for managing site operations, direct labour and subcontractors while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Project Managers, clients and operational teams, you will play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining excellent customer relationships and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Multi Utility and Industrial & Commercial projects on site.

• Manage direct labour teams and subcontractors to maximise productivity and programme delivery.

• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.

• Carry out site audits, toolbox talks and safety inspections.

• Ensure compliance with RAMS, Streetworks regulations and health & safety legislation.

• Conduct site pre-starts and pre-site inspections prior to works commencing.

• Maintain excellent communication with clients, site managers and internal departments.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Project Managers and operational teams.

• Coordinate plant, materials and resources to avoid delays and maximise efficiencies.

• Ensure accurate completion of site records, as-laid information and project documentation.

• Manage quality control and ensure all works are completed to specification.

• Support commercial processes including joint measurements, material tracking and proof of delivery records.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, site presentation and company image.

Requirements

Essential

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the Multi Utility sector.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Supervisory or Site Management role.

• Strong knowledge of gas, water and electric utility installations.

• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and client relationships.

• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements and industry best practice.

• Full UK Driving Licence.
