History Teacher – Middlesbrough

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a History Teacher to join a secondary school in Middlesbrough on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a passionate and committed History specialist who can deliver engaging lessons across the secondary age range and inspire students to develop their knowledge, analytical skills and understanding of the past.

The Role

• Full-time History teaching position
• Teaching across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
• Supporting students to make strong academic progress
• Working collaboratively with the Humanities department
• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

We're also open to Humanities specialists

For the right candidate, the school may consider a Humanities teacher with a combination of subjects, particularly History alongside Geography or Religious Studies.

This could therefore suit:

• A qualified History Teacher
• A Humanities Teacher with History as a main specialism
• A teacher able to offer History + Geography
• A teacher able to offer History + Religious Studies

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge in History
• Secondary school teaching experience
• A commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
