Humanities Teacher - Middlesbrough

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Middlesbrough. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to inspire students across a range of Humanities subjects, including History, Geography and Religious Education.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and effective Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and report on student progress.
• Support the wider school community and contribute to departmental success.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent UK classroom experience teaching Humanities subjects.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to provide professional references covering recent employment.
