Whether you’re working one-to-one or with small groups, your focus will be on helping pupils access learning in a way that suits them, while building their independence and social confidence.You’ll help create a calm and consistent environment where children feel secure enough to take part, try new things and enjoy learning.What you’ll be getting involved in Supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH and PMLD through tailored approachesWorking 1:1 and in small groups, adjusting support to individual needsBringing EHCP targets and personalised plans to life in the classroomUsing positive behaviour strategies to keep pupils engaged and on trackSupporting children who may need extra help with communication or emotional regulationWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionalsBuilding strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues What we’re looking for Experience working with children or young people, SEN experience is helpful but not essentialA calm, patient and genuinely caring approachStrong communication skills and the ability to really listenA passion for helping children with additional needs thriveBackgrounds in care, youth work or education are a great fit Not Thrive trained yet?
