We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Music Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Middlesbrough. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students through engaging music lessons and help nurture creativity and confidence in the classroom.

The Role

As a Music Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable).
• Encourage students to develop their musical skills, knowledge, and appreciation.
• Lead and support extracurricular music activities, performances, and school productions.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Music within a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A passion for music education and inspiring young people.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
