About the Role
As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant in a Middlesbrough secondary school, you will:

Support pupils in lessons so they can access learning confidently

Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis

Support pupils with additional needs, including SEMH and SEND

Reinforce teacher instructions and classroom routines

Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

Be a calm, consistent presence throughout the school day

Some relevant experience is necessary, but it doesn’t need to be perfect or extensive.
You’ll ideally have:
✔️ Experience as a Teaching Assistant in primary, secondary, or SEND settings
or
✔️ Strong childcare, youth work, or mentoring experience with secondary-aged young people
