Protocol Education are seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable Teacher of T Level Health to join a thriving Further Education setting in Middlesbrough from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher or industry professional with experience in Health and Social Care to support students studying the T Level Health qualification and prepare them for successful careers within the healthcare sector.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across the T Level Health programme.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that combine academic theory with real-world healthcare applications.
- Support students in developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for progression into healthcare professions.
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to maximise achievement.
- Prepare learners for assessments, employer-set projects and industry placements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to enhance the student experience.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a recognised teaching qualification, or is willing to work towards one.
- Has experience teaching Health and Social Care, T Level Health, BTEC Health & Social Care, or related qualifications.
- Possesses strong subject knowledge within healthcare, nursing, public health, or allied health professions.
- Can inspire and motivate learners aged 16–19.
- Has excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
- Understands the importance of employer engagement and industry-relevant learning.
