French Teacher – Secondary School

Location: Middlesbrough
Contract: Full-time or Part-time
Start: ASAP / September 2026

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed French Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Middlesbrough.

The successful candidate will teach French across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons and supporting students to make strong progress in their language learning.

The role:

• Teach French across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
• Contribute positively to the wider MFL department and school community
• Full-time and part-time availability considered

We are looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred
• Experience teaching French at secondary level
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A passionate and positive approach to teaching and learning
