Protocol Education is recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Mitcham from February 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a full-time teaching role covering a maternity leave for one academic year.

The Role

• Full-time Year 5 class teacher position
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Passionate about inspiring and motivating learners
• Committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
