Are you an experienced Hair & Beauty professional, tutor or educator looking for a part-time role where you can make a real difference?

Protocol Education is working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Morpeth that is looking for someone with a passion for hair and beauty to support pupils through practical, creative and engaging activities.

This is an opportunity to take your industry knowledge into an educational setting and help young people develop new skills, confidence and a sense of achievement.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work with pupils on practical hair and beauty activities, which could include:

• Basic hair styling techniques
• Hair care and maintenance
• Beauty and skincare
• Basic makeup techniques
• Personal presentation
• Salon-style practical activities
• Developing creativity and confidence
• Encouraging pupils to try new skills
• Supporting communication and positive relationships
• Helping pupils recognise their own strengths and abilities

The focus isn't simply on teaching hair and beauty — it's about using practical learning to engage pupils who may not thrive in a traditional classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
