Are you an experienced Hair & Beauty professional who enjoys helping others learn?

Protocol Education are working with a Pupil Referral Unit in Morpeth that is looking for someone with industry experience to support young people through practical Hair & Beauty activities.

This could suit someone who has spent years working in the industry and is now interested in trying something different.

What You'll Do

You'll work with pupils to deliver practical sessions covering areas such as:

• Hair styling techniques
• Hair care and maintenance
• Skincare and beauty
• Basic makeup
• Personal presentation
• Creative Hair & Beauty projects
• Practical vocational activities

You'll also play an important role in helping pupils develop confidence, communication, independence and positive relationships.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has genuine Hair & Beauty experience
• Is confident demonstrating practical skills
• Can engage young people
• Is patient and approachable
• Can maintain clear professional boundaries
• Is adaptable and willing to try different approaches
• Wants to help pupils develop their skills and confidence

Previous teaching experience is beneficial but not essential. Your industry knowledge and ability to engage pupils are what matter most.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
